fitness is an essential part of life in general and a critical
part of any sport. The ability to move and produce power and
strength or flexibility in lines is not only used in sport
but also in everyday life. Understanding the purpose of specific
exercises and having knowledge of proper technique are key
aspects in improving overall ability and performance. Off-ice
conditioning serves not only to increase physical abilities,
including strength, power, flexibility and body awareness
but also to build confidence, improve self-esteem, keep you
healthy, and, most importantly for athletes, prevent injury. |
